1. Information we collect

Account information.When a parent or guardian registers a student for Study Pro, we collect the parent/guardian's name, phone number (used for WhatsApp communication), and email address, along with the student's name and grade (Grade 10 or Grade 11).

Academic and usage data. As a student uses the platform, we collect their quiz responses, diagnostic results, chapter-level performance data, tier and progress information, and general usage activity such as login frequency.

Payment information.Payments for Study Pro subscriptions are processed directly by PayHere, our payment gateway provider. OX Global does not collect or store card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. PayHere's own privacy policy governs how it handles this information.

Technical and analytics data. Like most websites, studypro.lk uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Analytics/Google Ads. These tools collect information such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and interactions with our ads, to help us understand site usage and measure our marketing campaigns.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide access to the Study Pro platform and deliver quizzes, diagnostics, and progress tracking
• Generate the weekly diagnostic report sent to parents/guardians via WhatsApp
• Process subscription payments through PayHere
• Respond to support requests sent to [email protected]
• Improve our content, question banks, and platform features
• Measure and improve our marketing through Meta's and Google's advertising tools
• Send service-related notices, including renewal and billing communications

3. Children's information

Study Pro is designed for use by Grade 10 and Grade 11 students, most of whom are minors. For this reason, every Study Pro account is registered and controlled by a parent or guardian, who provides consent for the collection of their child's academic and usage data on the child's behalf at the time of registration.

We do not knowingly allow a student to register an account independently of a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time at [email protected] to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information.

4. How we share information

We share information only as follows:

• With PayHere, solely to process subscription payments.
• With Meta and Google,through their advertising and analytics tools, for marketing measurement and audience insights, governed by Meta's and Google's own privacy policies.
• When required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request from a Sri Lankan authority.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies

studypro.lk uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel, Google Ads). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may affect some site functionality. Disabling these cookies does not affect your ability to use the Study Pro platform itself.

6. Data security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. Account and academic data is retained for as long as the account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to support service continuity, unless a parent or guardian requests earlier deletion.

7. Your rights

A parent or guardian may, at any time, contact [email protected] to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about their child's account
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of their child's account and associated data

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
